Email Notifications help you stay updated about changes to your account. These emails inform you about events such as a new course starting, registration and password change, and a daily digest in case you haven't opened your Course and Stream Notifications.
Users who haven't opened their in-platform notifications and have one or more unread notifications will receive a daily-generated email digest. This email will list the unread notifications. Here's an example:
Adjust the Email Notifications
You may disable sending these email digests by setting your email notification preferences:
- Click on your initial at the top right corner of the page and select User Settings.
- Under Email Notifications, you may uncheck "Send me alerts" and/or "Send me messages" to opt-out from email digests on unread system alerts/notifications and unread chat messages, respectively:
